I dident do much during the christmas holidays just went out with mates and stayed in.
christmas day was alrite got a few decent presents like a apple itouch and a laptop so it wasnt to bad and for new year dident really do anything my sister and bother came down and thats about it.

John McDouall Stuart Interview

John McDouall Stuart was a famous Scottish explorer.


He got offered £2000 to travel across Australia. He arrived in South Australia in 1838.

on 14th May 1858 Stuart and one companion called Alexander Tolmer and six horses made an expedition to west of the Torrens Basin.

On 26 July Stuart began the return journey. His horses were in poor condition and by 10 August he had been obliged to abandon some of them.

I graduated from the Scottish Naval and Military Academy as a before emigrateing to Austrailia in 1883, at the age of 23.

Glasgow Commonwealth games

on the 9th of november 2007 it was decided that Glasgow would hold commonwealth games in 2014
i dont really like the commonwealth games i dont plan on watching them and im not really a sporty kind of person so i dont watch sport. on the 9th of november 2007 it was decided that Glasgow would hold commonwealth games in 2014 But i suppose it is good for glasgow and scotland in general for all the tourism this will be the bigest thing to happen to scotland in a long time.
it will also up glasgows reputation seeing as everyone thinks glasgow is a rough place to live.

Need for speed is a Raceing game for All consoles. Most people know Need For Speed as illegal street raceing but now on the 23rd of november it gets released. its not illegal steet raceing anymore it is now organised raceing where normal people from the street come and race EA have put damage into the game so that when you hit a car or a wall the slighest nudge will change the look of your car and also effect the performance of the car and aslo they have improved there smoke. No other gameing company have the new smoke technology.
The new technology makes the smoke alot more realisitc and gives the smoke more life by wraping itself around the wheelwell no other game has done this yet and the damage is incredible because you can scratch the paint on your car and take the small things off like your side mirrors.
The Whole Style of the game is differnt it is nothing like the older Need for Speeds.
I plan on buying the game on the day it is Released For PC as i dont play any other consoles.
The main reason i am buying the game is because i have owned all the other need for speeds and i just want to keep with all the games and i have been looking forward to this game since i found out about it

October Holls

In the october holidays i dident really do that much just played my computer and watched Tv but i did go out sometimes i went to cinima and just around town it was a boreing week off college but atleast it was a week off so im not complaining just wish i had more to do.

Shutting down of British blogs

This blog entry is about "Alisher Usmanov" the Russian billionaire who is trying to buy over Arsenal Football Club.

On some blogs there were comments about Alisher Usmanov on Tim Ireland's bloggerhead.co.uk and and Craig Murry's craigmurry.co.uk and they both got shut down because of these comments about him so he decided he would shut them down because he is a billionaire.

Some good points were made like using American blogger sites so then he wouldn't be able to shut them down because he has no power over in America this all just shows him to be a bully and he gets everything he wants just because he is rich he also has a criminal record for "receiving bribes and extortion" so i don't think you would want Simone like that to run your football club.

Also Demon Internet refused to remove the posts on "soc.culture.thai newsgroup" and will now have to pay £15,000 for damages plus legal costs that will be around about £230,000 so it including other costs so it is likely to reach about £500,000."The case, settled just four days before a jury trail was due to begin, hinged on whether Demon Internet could be treated as publisher of material on a newsgroup it hosted"
